Proud

The Proud runs on the same Windows‑based artisJet WorkStation + artisRIP platform that powers the larger flatbeds, so operators see one familiar UI across the entire fleet. WorkStation accepts files straight from Photoshop, Illustrator, CorelDRAW or any hot‑folder source, automatically generating white and varnish layers, cost estimates and job previews before you press Print. Variable‑data printing is baked in: import a CSV or connect to a database and the RIP merges names, photos, barcodes or QR codes on the fly—ideal for membership, banking or event issuance ArtisjetArtisjet.

For secure programmes, Proud merges print + encode in a single pass; the software’s encoding plug‑ins write magnetic‑stripe, contact‑chip or RFID/NFC data during the same cycle that it prints the card’s visual layer, guaranteeing perfect data‑to‑print matching. An open SDK / API lets integrators trigger jobs from kiosks, campus‑ID systems or web storefronts, or drop files into hot‑folders for lights‑out production ArtisjetArtisjet. The UI also exposes live counters, queue status and ink levels, so non‑technical staff can monitor throughput and consumables at a glance

What card sizes can Proud handle?

Proud prints standard CR80/ID‑1 cards (86 × 54 mm) and oversized formats up to 150 × 90 mm, covering everything from bank cards to event badges

The integrated feeder holds 200 blanks per load, allowing long unattended runs before re‑stocking.

PVC, PET, ABS and other plastic cores are standard, and the UV process also works on specialty substrates such as coated wood or metal cards.

Absolutely. Encoding plug‑ins write mag‑stripe, contact‑chip and NFC/RFID information during the same pass that the graphics are printed, ensuring perfect data‑to‑print matching.

The DTSAT4 UV‑curable CMYK + White/Varnish inks are supplied in bulk bottles; typical ink cost is roughly one‑tenth that of ribbon‑based systems, with no wasted panels.

It ships with artisJet WorkStation + artisRIP (Windows) and optional artisCARD design tools, providing drag‑and‑drop layout, variable‑data merges and encoding management in one interface.

Yes—the open SDK and hot‑folder API let integrators trigger jobs from kiosks, POS or web portals and monitor status, queues and ink levels in real time.
