Using artisRIP and the Workflow Station, operators can nest multiple designs across the 50×70 cm area, utilize templates for jigs (for example, to print dozens of cards or pens in one go), and manage color layers (like white ink underlays or varnish overlays) with ease. The software provides features like hot folder automation – allowing a networked workflow where design files can be dropped in a folder and automatically queued for printing. Additionally, the 5000U’s firmware includes intelligent controls such as FOIF (Flash-On-Ink-Firing), which only activates the UV LEDs when ink is being jetted (preserving LED and head life), and COD (Control On Demand), which adapts curing power and speed to different materials for optimal results. These technical integrations operate behind the scenes, so the user simply sees consistent, high-quality output without fuss. Absolutely. The BEC1GO one-pass technology, featuring an 8-channel ink set (CMYK + White + Varnish), enables you to print gloss, matte, and textured layers, as well as ADA-compliant Braille, in a single pass.
